Good bye Cable, Hello Streaming Media

Cable is getting more and more expensive but sometimes people can't handle it, but, thanks to Netflix, Hulu, and more. Suddenly cutting cable is so much easier. If you are getting rid of cable and need help you are in the right place.

Streaming media services

streaming video services like Hulu and Netflix lets you watch TV on your phone, tablet, laptop, and also TV. Their are different ways to bring these two streaming services to your TV. If you have a smart TV I bet it is already installed on the TV.

Set Top Boxes

Their are more then one media boxes this one is the Roku 2. Apple even makes one that works well with your iOS and iMac devices, you might have heard of it, it is called the Apple TV. Some of these boxes can also work well with your smartphone by letting you use your phone as a remote.

Streaming Stick

A streaming stick is a device that plugs in to your TV with HDMI that can connect to the internet and watch Netflix or any other streaming service.
It basically turns your TV in to a smart TV. Roku makes a one that does the same thing the box does. Chromecast is my favorite because it is the most easiest to use because their is no remote you use your phone as the remote and set up is easy to.

Gaming Consoles

A gaming console like the Xbox 360 can play streaming media just make sure it is connected to the internet and go download it in the marketplace or store on the console. You are ready to go.
