Material design
During Google I/O, Google's developer conference, Google showed off the new bold, colorful, and responsive UI. The new UI has new vivid colors and typography. It also has realistic light and shadow so if they're is a button on the screen it will look like it has a shadow underneath it so it would look like it is floating.
Notifications
From the lock screen you are able notifications and for some of them you can reply right from the lockscreen. You also have to ability to hide impotent notifications from the lock screen just in case you leave your phone at the restaurant you were just at and no one can see important notifications when they wake up the phone. This is important if you are trying to get a new high score in that game you love. Now if you get a call for example a little box will appear on the top of the screen were you can answer it or just swipe it away to ignore it.Device Sharing
If you're in a hurry you forget your phone, you can now log in to your Google account on another phone that runs lollipop and make a call with out sharing any files or personal stuff on that phone. This means you can lend your phone to other people with them shearing stuff with you.
Android TV
The new version is also compatible with Android TV so that means casting content from your phone just like Chromecast. You can even use your phone as a remote.
Device Set-Up
Setting up a new Android device has never been easier then ever with your old device you can tap the new device together and everything is transferred.
