REVIEW: Chromecast

The $35 Chromecast is a perfect way to stream media from your phone to your TV. The Chromecast can only stream content from your Android ,IOS6 and later, Windows 7, Mac OS X. The apps compatible with Chromecast is Youtube, Netflix, Hulu Plus, And Google Play music and movies. These features can work for Android and IOS, but on Windows and Mac OS X you can cast your chrome browser to the TV. There is a bit of lagging but it can be fixed. Then again this is a device that if you watch a lot youtube and netflix then this device is for you.

Verizon Nexus 5 or Else

The Google Nexus 5 is a popular smartphone. It is running android 4.4. has a 8 megapixel camera, It is a good phone. But one thing, it is not available on Verizon! This is the 2nd nexus phone ever since the galaxy nexus came out. This means people are going to switch to another phone service or switch to another phone operating system like Windows Phone and IOS 7. In my opinion Google said that they have working on something for 2014, and, switch to another operating system!!!!

Review: Hunger Games Catching Fire

For Hunger Games fans who have an IPhone or Android device this game is for you! The whole point of this games is to run throw Panem and go to different districts collecting coins shaped as fire. You can run as a Boy or a Girl. The girl is Katness I have no idea who is the Boy. The good thing about this game it is a fun running game with a fun background. The bad thing about this game is it can't read if your finger is going up or down. If it does you die but if you get use to the game interface this is the perfect game. The whole point of this game is it is a perfect game if you are a fan of the movie.

Google Wallet Available for Everyone

Google released Google Wallet to IOS and Android. Tap to pay is not a available for every single android phone. But I know it works for the Verizon Galaxy Nexus and other Verizon android phone that has NFC. My opinion that Google made it available for these device because Google updated Google Wallet so now you can send money via email. Leaving a little note like, " Here is my half for the pizza." and It sends it to the person you send it to card. Wallet works with Visa, Master Card, and Loyalty cards.

Google Helpout

Google released a new service called Helpout. Helpouts is a service were experts gives lessons basically. Some give lessons for free. Most of them you have to pay for. Most of them are cheap. Some of them charge $1.00 per min or $ 15.00 every 30 min. Helpouts run on hangouts so you can access from your android phone or tablet. So it is basically like people giving lessons on Skype. But it is a good idea. And who knows I might be on there

REVIEW: The XBox 360

The Xbox 360 is a gaming is a great way to be fit with the kinect. Without the Xbox live account you can't connect to the internet. So you can not talk to your friends while playing a game. With an Xbox live account you can buy games from the Xbox so you don't go to a store and buy the game. You can also download streaming video apps, like Netflix. Since Microsoft build the Xbox 360, you can search stuff with Bing. This feature is with the kinect, you can talk to it. For example, "Xbox TV and Movies, my video apps, Netflix" and it opens Netflix. The Xbox is a perfect way to keep your kids entertain and keep your family entertain. This system is also a great gift for a gamer.

Chromebook 11

Google and HP has made another Chromebook, the Chromebook 11. The laptop is running Google chrome OS. Comes in different colors, blue, red, yellow, green, and if you don't like these colors you can get plain old black. The cool thing that Google add to this laptop is the micro USB charging. The reason Google added the micro USB charging because if you are travailing you can pack the laptop and your phone and tablet (Android) and just pack the charging cable for the laptop and go. I recommend this laptop for an extra laptop around the house to get on the internet, if you do your work on the internet, and a simple way to communicate with your love ones.

The Best Ways to Lock your Android Phone or Tablet

They'er multiply ways to lock your Android device but in this post I will show you the best ways to do it

1. PIN Number

A PIN number is the best and safest way to lock your Android device. You can make an easy 4 digit PIN code, or, a more difficult 5 or more digit PIN code. Make sure it is easy to remember so I recommend a 4 digit PIN code. Just don't make your birthday or any date that is special to you that everyone knows about. Make sure that now one is looking

2. Pattern

A pattern is not the safest lock screen because if you shin the screen in light you see a smudge line that revels the pattern which makes it not the safest. To make it a little safer you can make the pattern invisible. Go to your settings, security, set up a pattern, tap "make pattern viable" to test it lock your device and enter your pattern it should be invisible.

A Find my IPhone app but for Android

Apple always had find my IPhone for IPhone but android never had it for Android, until now. Google
released "Android Device Manager" to track your Android phone threw GPS, and if it fell into the cracks of the couch and you didn't now where it is you can make it ring off of the web site. This feature is also available when the phone is on silence. That will be handy if you lost it in your home, but what about outside of your home. You can track your phone via GPS. So if you sat it on a bench at the park and you forgot to pick it up and checked your pockets and it is not there so you went on your laptop and found out that you left it on the bench so you went back and got it. Let me give you a little tip, you can also erase your data from that phone if some one toke it, but, you must set this up before it was stolen. I basically this is better then find my droid because you can use GPS to track it. So go check it out for your self.www.google.com/android/devicemanager

Why it's not a Good Idea to Sell Your Old Devices

If you are thinking of selling your old device, don't. It is a good idea keeping your device just in case you break it. It is also a good idea to keep you old device so you can turn your device in to a MP3 player. If you also have a kid you can give it to them as a gift. If you just want to get out of your life trade and get a better phone.

how to teach older people how to use 21st century technology

If one of you older relatives got a tablet or smartphone on their birthday or any holiday and they do not know how to use it well this blog is for you.

Let them explore around on their new device

Remember to be patient with them, let them explore around their device. If they get a ios device let them explore a little more because they might want to know a little more about siri. If you get a android give it about a week so they can explore and tell you what are they having trouble with. It is also a good idea if they learn more about google now if you get a Android 4.1 or over device. So far this is step one.

Simple Operating System

Get them a simple operating system which is Windows Phone 8. Windows Phone 8 is basic. All their is are tiles. But, IOS might be a basic OS. There are just apps. If you get to teach them how to use ITunes and ICloud.

If Not Successful

If they still do not get it might as well get them a simple tech. Like in the picture you can get a basic cell phone like the Jitterbug.

THROWBACK: Galaxy Nexus

Let me explain a throwback to you guys. A throwback is where I do a review of a 12 month or more device where it might be still popular or not. The first throwback is going to be about my current smartphone, the Galaxy Nexus. The Galaxy Nexus is the 3rd gen nexus device. This device which I say is better then the nexus 4. I was going to upgrade, but as I soon as I herd the lack of 4g LTE it was a big no. Anyway this phone has a 4.65 super amoled, running android 4.2.2 on the LTE model and running android 4.3 on the hspa+ model. This is the best phone I have ever had. Has the best camera I have ever owned 8mp camera.

Why is Motorola Making a Google Play Edition of the Moto X?

Motorola is making a Google Play Edition of the Moto X but why? Google bought Motorola and the Moto X looks like it is running pure android, But I guess not. Motorola should just put the pure android UI.
Will you get to customize the Google Play Edition or will they have colors for us to choose from. Will the phone be available for all major carriers. Will Motorola take away all the features that they put on the phone before. Will the bootup animation be diffrent, will it be like the Google Play Edition HTC One and the Galaxy S4. So far I think the Moto X is already running pure stock android. Leave a comment and tell me what you think about the Google Play Edition Moto X.

Why You Should Root Your Android Phone or Tablet

I just rooted my Galaxy Nexus because I just couldn't wait anymore for Verizon to push Android 4.3 To the Verizon Galaxy Nexus. So I rooted my phone, found a OTA update rom, Installed it, and I have Android 4.3 running on the Galaxy Nexus. The rom also installed Google Wallet but installed My Verizon. Rooting it was the best thing I have ever done. Rooting an Android device lets you customize your Android phone or tablet a lot more. If your phone is buttonless you can customize the softkeys. You can also change the User Interface and update your phone to the latest version of Android. From the recovery mode you can also download a zip file from the SD card. The best app when you rooting is Rom Manager. It has its own custom recovery mode, you can download custom roms from the app, and if you install a rom from the sd card and install it you can choose what you want to do from the app, all you have to do is press run and sit back and relax.

REVIEW: Moga portable bluetooth gaming remote

The Moga Portable Gaming Remote is a perfect way to turn your mobile device into a portable gaming console. This remote is perfect for gamers on the go. When you buy this device and open it you will see that the remote is thin. To me the remote is a little hard to hold and once you put the phone on to the built in phone stand and hold in your hands it is heavy and it will my hands was hurting within 30 seconds. When you get the Moga Pivot app and follow the steps it will tell you that it gave you a free game. This remote only works with Android devices. I give this remote 3 and a half stars. If you guys have this remote or going to get one leave a comment and tell me what you think about the Moga Gaming Remote.

Moto X

The new Moto X was the fourth phone ever made since Google bought Motorola. Motorola announced the Moto X in NYC. The Moto X is the first to be built in America. It's also the first phone that can be customized the way you wanted to, but it is only available for AT&T customers, Verizon customers should be able to do that soon. Motorola has also announced that a Google Play Edition will be coming out soon. The Moto X also has some cool features. These two features are also on The Droid Ultra, The Droid Maxx ,and The Droid Mini, The phone is always listening, you just have to say OK Google Now with out touching the phone. The other feature is you can take the phone out of your pocket and take a quick look at your notifications without unlocking the phone. The last feature that I am going to tell you is, you can pick up the phone, twist it twice ,and it will activate the camera. The Moto X will be with five US carriers, but the four major carriers are Verizon, AT&T, T Mobile ,and Sprint. Only the AT&T model can be customized.

Moto Maker is were you can customized the phone the way you want. This phone is the first that can be customized. The only model that can be customized is the AT&T model. Motorola has made a huge flaw in that, but, Motorola should be adding more to the list later. You can customize the back of the phone, pick which color on the front of the phone, and pick the accent colors of the phone. On the lower back of the phone you can say what ever you want. When you boot up the phone instead of Motorola you can customize that too. You will also have a choice of having a case or not but if you do, you can pick if it is clear or not. You will also have a choice of what color ear buds you want and the color of the power adapter and charging cord.

Later in Moto Maker, You can pick a wood backing.

Android 4.3

Android 4.3 came out it is still called jelly bean, I don't know why. Any way, every thing looks the same but a new feature. Parental controls for tablets. Leave a comment down below so I know what you guys think.

The Best Pure Android Phones

Pure Android phones are the best way to get the most out of Android. In this blog I will show you the best pure Android phones and one that is coming out soon.

The Galaxy Nexus

The Galaxy Nexus is my favorite device and it is also my current phone. It is the last gen Nexus but this phone is my bet one yet. It runs Android 4.2.2 on the Verizon model and Android 4.2.1 on the Sprint model. I am just hoping that Android 4.3 will be coming soon on the Verizon model.

Nexus 4

The Nexus 4 is the latest Nexus. This phone is running android 4.2.2 and it has wireless charging. The only bad thing is no LTE. Other then that it is a good phone

HTC One Google Play Edition

The Google Play Edition HTC One has the latest version of Android 4.2.2. Runs the Nexus U.I . So basically is an HTC One Nexus. The bad thing about it is you will lose all the features that HTC puts on it and it is only available for AT&T and T Mobile.

Samsung Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition

The Google Play Edition Galaxy S4 is basically the same thing as the Google Play Edition HTC One. Just with a bigger screen. I recommend this if you like taking pictures.

Moto X Google Play Edition

Motorola is coming out with a Google Play Edition Moto X. It looks like it is running the Nexus U.I since Google bought Motorola but I guess it is not. This version of the Moto X should come out later this year or early 2014.

Google Play Edition of the HTC One and Galaxy S4

Google Play released the Google Play edition of the HTC One and the Galaxy S4 but it is not shipping until July 9. It is unlocked but only for AT&T and T-mobile. Google announced at Google IO that they would sale them but they were not available yet but they still should it on the GS4. I think this is a great idea but make available for all major carriers. What do you think live a comment and follow on Google Plus.

No More Pure Android Phones for Verizon

Do you guys remember the Galaxy Nexus. You know the 3rd gen nexus. When the nexus 4 came out it was just for T-Mobile. And the Google Play versions of the Galaxy S4 and the HTC One came out but the are only available for AT&T and T-Mobile. I don't know about you put I like the pure android experience on a android phone. I mean ya the Galaxy S3 is nice and all but it has touch wiz. Maybe the next gen nexus phone  will be on Verizon what do you think. Leave a comment so I can hear your feedback.
