If one of you older relatives got a tablet or smartphone on their birthday or any holiday and they do not know how to use it well this blog is for you.

Let them explore around on their new device

Remember to be patient with them, let them explore around their device. If they get a ios device let them explore a little more because they might want to know a little more about siri. If you get a android give it about a week so they can explore and tell you what are they having trouble with. It is also a good idea if they learn more about google now if you get a Android 4.1 or over device. So far this is step one.

Simple Operating System

Get them a simple operating system which is Windows Phone 8. Windows Phone 8 is basic. All their is are tiles. But, IOS might be a basic OS. There are just apps. If you get to teach them how to use ITunes and ICloud.

If Not Successful

 If they still do not get it might as well get them a simple tech. Like in the picture you can get a basic cell phone like the Jitterbug.
